Rory Whytock - Field Surveyor

Rory is a highly experienced bird surveyor. He has worked on a variety of renewable energy projects utilising a range survey techniques, ranging from breeding bird surveys, flight activity and raptor work amongst others. He has worked for Scottish Natural Heritage, whilst also conducting survey work for the BTO and the RSPB. He has conducted research into farmland birds whilst at University and regularly volunteers with conservation organisations. 

Having bred and flown raptors in his formative years, Rory has built up an in depth knowledge of their ecology, plumage and flight activity.
