Ken Shaw - Field Surveyor
Ken is one of Britain’s best known birdwatchers. He worked for the RSPB for 28 years including 8 years as conservation officer for Tayside and Grampian. Ken has worked in almost every country in Europe and has recently been appointed as the coordinator for the International Verification Panel for the endangered slender-billed curlew. He has been a member of British Birds Rarity Committee and is a member of SOC Council. He has vast experience working on species such as honey buzzard, goshawk, golden eagle, merlin etc. Ken has also coordinated the fieldwork on several major renewables projects.
