David Devenport - Field Surveyor

David started his bird watching life originally around Teesmouth and the surrounding area with frequent trips to Norfolk in the sixties. He managed to keep bird watching through years of making a living in the North East of England and later in London. A move to Scotland in the nineties with part time working for the RSPB and also becoming the BTO Rep’ for Sutherland enabled David to become a full time freelance birdwatcher, mainly working for environmental companies doing survey work.

David’s other passion is Bird photography - mainly in Scotland with trips around the UK and abroad.
